Welcome
to the Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of New
Jersey (IPPNJ).
IPPNJ is a non-profit educational corporation that offers
post-graduate course work in psychoanalytic theory and practice
to mental health professionals. Its faculty consists
of a diverse group of psychoanalysts with extensive training.
The overriding goals of IPPNJ are:
(1)
the advancement of psychoanalysis as a method of treatment,
a body of clinical experience, and a theory of personality
psychopathology, adaptation, and creativity; and
(2)
the promotion of the highest attainable level of competence
among mental health professionals who practice psychoanalysis
and psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy, supervision,
and teaching.
